Hrinkow Advarics – Team Profile

Hrinkow Advarics is a UCI Continental team based in Austria, registered since 2015, and has developed into one of Europe’s top continental teams. The team is a regular contender in major international events such as the Tour of Austria and the Tour of Türkiye. It was founded by former professional cyclist Alexander Hrinkow and his son Dominik, who himself enjoyed a 13-year career as a pro. Since 2024, Dominik has taken over the management of the company.

From Specialist Retailer to International Cycling Platform

What began as a regional bike shop has, over more than four decades, grown into a key player in Austrian cycling. Alongside the founding of Hrinkow Advarics, the Hrinkow Cycling Academy (affiliated with the Raiffeisen Group) was established to create a sustainable platform for nurturing young riders and guiding them toward professional careers. Another significant chapter is Hrinkow’s role as a major co-organizer of the Tour of Austria, which celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Over the past 40 years, Hrinkow has organized 110 cycling events – a remarkable milestone in Austrian sports.

2026 Roster: Experience Meets Youth

Hrinkow Advarics will enter the new season with a 12-rider squad. The team is led by two seasoned veterans, Riccardo Zoidl and Filippo Fortin. Both former WorldTour pros have numerous international victories to their names and are expected to bring stability and experience to this young team. They will be supported by Loïc Bettendorff and Jaka Primožič, two strong all-rounders who will primarily mentor the younger riders. The team also features a host of promising talents, including Aiden Jordan (18), Maximilian Huber (19), Valentin Poschacher (19), Dominik Hödlmoser (20), and Richard Ryska (20). David Paumann, Josef Dirnbaur, and Jakob Reiter also join the lineup. This blend of internationally seasoned leaders and ambitious young riders underscores the team’s clear philosophy: developing talent, ensuring consistency, and striving for top sporting results.

For four decades, Sport Hrinkow has stood for commitment, innovation, and passion in cycling. The journey from a regional retailer to an international Continental team, and from local event organizer to co-founder of a major national tour, is truly impressive. The team embraces a “clean cycling” philosophy that goes beyond zero tolerance for doping: it also focuses on environmental responsibility – using low-consumption vehicles, biodegradable bottles and chain oil, central waste management, and even jerseys made from recycled materials.
